A true pioneer of the golden era of hip-hop and New Jack Swing, Father MC helped define the sound of the early ‘90s with timeless hits like “I’ll Do 4 U,” “Treat Them Like They Want to Be Treated,” “Lisa Baby,” and “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright.” Signed to Uptown Records during the label’s rise, Father MC also introduced the world to rising stars like Jodeci and Mary J.
